Since 1969, Sunny Dale Service Center has supported adults with developmental and physical needs through compassionate care, meaningful services, and a strong belief in the power of community.
Our story
Who We Are
Sunny Dale Service Center is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to serving adults with developmental and physical needs. As a recognized center regulated under the Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities, Sunny Dale provides services that promote dignity, independence, inclusion, and quality of life.
We are governed by a dedicated Board of Directors and led by a compassionate team of professionals who work each day to make a positive difference in the lives of the individuals we serve.
At Sunny Dale, we believe every individual has unique abilities, strengths, and goals. Our role is to provide the support, encouragement, and opportunities needed for each person to thrive.

Sunny Dale Service Center began with a small group of concerned citizens who saw a need to better support individuals with developmental and physical needs in Irwin County. In 1969, the center was officially established, and in 1977, Sunny Dale moved into a new building and continued expanding its role in the community.
For more than 50 years, Sunny Dale has remained committed to creating an environment where individuals are welcomed, respected, and supported.
